I love the small guy words at the end, mama speaks better English than you.
#ENGLISH VINGLISH TAMIL MOVIE CLIMAX MOVIE#
Sridevi with her classical acting, had done a very good job, Though there are very much difference between the french man and heroin, he managed without the language problem, where as the people of her family felt bad, everything is perfect, a simple story it is but had reached a lot of hearts.I am not sure, who came in Hindi in place of ajith,he came for two minutes but I liked him very much, how sweet to translate a movie and she enjoying it, handful will do. I like things such as, we must say gender differential, though a person is gay or anything for that matter. One very good movie amidst the many, which teaches the value of respecting others, how one should not deprive others if they don’t know, and how we must give respect at least to ones ideal though or work they wish to like. I got the DVD of this movie and stored in my collection. Gosh! I think I am all set to become a script writer eh? Or for an even twister in the tale, if I didnt want the family to break up.could I hope that Radha (Shashi’s niece who is very supportive to her) fell for that French man…and they decided to get together? how about that? I dont know…I guess, I am just thinking aloud here ? If any of this had been the ending, would the movie have been such a hit? Will the Indian audience accept the heroine not doing the right thing of going back to her family? The lovable Mother in Law? May be she would have stayed with Shashi for sometime of the year? What about the children? Would the boy have stayed with Shashi and the girl with her father? Would the ladoos have been served with some gorgeous French dessert like Crème brûlée ?(I googled French Desserts and liked this name the best from the list which came up on Wikipedia ? ) Would they have mixed looncha (pickles) and french crepes? Would they have a coffee named Shashi’s Eyes? May be then, they would have opened that restaurant with French Indian cooking?Īnd they would have continued to converse more with eyes than with words? The romantic in me, of course liked the typical Indian movie ka ending where things are back to normal and I presume the husband loves her now and treats as an equal and respects her decision to make ladoos…I definitey hope that the teenage daughter of hers realises what a wonderful mother she is and that they all go on to become the happiest family ever…īut what if she had gone to the French man? May be it wasnt even a romantic scene.but hey! I can interpret it the way I want eh?Īnyways, I was wondering, what if Shashi had gone to him.
I think he is very hot.someone else told me he looks old.gah! to that someone ?Īnd I think the scene in which Sridevi falls in his arms and he takes that strand of hair out of her face was one of the most romantic scenes I have ever seen (Please note here that I hardly watch movies and OUT of the movies I have watched personally, I found this among the more romantic ones) What if she had choosen the French man.and God! is he hot or what? I had the very same thought when I watched the movie end the way it did.
PS : My younger daughter wanted a twist in the tale, by Shashi choosing the French man over her husband But, oh dear !!! Do such things happen in Bollywood movies ?
UmaS wrote this very very interesting review of English Vinglish.and then she ended her post with a PS which said
